We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing medical documents and prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including some transcription in a live manner.
What you will do
- Read and transcribe medical documents and prescriptions
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Follow medical coding standards and guidelines
- Perform live transcription as needed during medical procedures or consultations
- Ensure timely completion of transcription assignments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify information, if needed
What you will need
- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Certification in medical transcription is a plus
